I write or study on my laptop for more than 12 hours a day, usually in a recliner chair or bed. everything was fine but then i got a new computer which is metal and looks great but its hardness and angle is killing my already delicate wrists. I tried these mouse pads to soften the feel there but they lost grip within three days and didn't help at all. I looked at many options, but none of them seemed really useful to me before. It's a durable foam with a soft microfiber finish that's lightweight and neutral. When I first put it on my lap, the computer felt a bit high, but Gee quickly realized that it actually helps a lot if the screen is higher so I'm not looking down at it. and a wrist rest! It's amazing, firm enough for support, soft enough for comfort so I can comfortably type in the perfect position, which takes the pressure off my shoulders. The moment I started using it, I felt my body relax. I also love that it's so light weight, with handles and pockets so it's a portable mini office. My sleek new 14" laptop has a deep enough edge to hold it in place, but my old 15.5" laptop is bulkier and won't stay in place. but for me it completely changes the rules of the game. Great value for those who spend a lot of time at the computer.
