. I needed a new stud finder that was accurate. I've had issues with other manufacturers getting different readings every time a hairpin passes. Sometimes it was attached to each side of the bobby pin, giving me a chance to measure down the middle. I was surprised how accurate this model is. It is fixed in the center of the bolt.
