Works just like the originals that came with our set we bought years ago.
You may need double-sided tape to attach the sticker to the helmet. My helmet had a "shape" where the mount should have been. Right in the middle of the mount, on the helmet, there was an indentation and I had to use double sided tape to fill the gap and secure the mount. Works great!
