Review on πŸ’» Silverstone FT04S-W: Premium Aluminum Full Tower Case for Extended-ATX Computers in Silver by Scott Clark

Revainrating 4 out of 5

High-quality housing with few compromises.

I personally had very little choice, I really needed such a case. The motherboard's 90-degree rotation meant that all of a computer's usual I/O ports were hidden at the top of the PC. Just a sleeve around the cables (power, USB, video, etc.) and the housing looks like there is only one cable, which makes the structure visually very appealing, especially when all sides of the tower are visible. all the time like it was with me. If the visual clarity offered by that 90 degree rotation isn't important, then it probably isn't. You can probably find another case that works just as well at a much cheaper price. Pros: - Excellent build quality. Very durable body. Space for full-size graphics cards and CPU coolers. Space for several hard drives (2x 2.5" drives in the mainboard read slot, 2x 3.5" drives in the removable hard drive slot). Excellent cooling thanks to large fans. at the bottom of the case. Easily removable dust filter. minuses. Just a space for a 120mm fan above the CPU. Restricts the use of some liquid coolers that require a 240mm radiator. Cable management behind the motherboard tray is tight due to multiple hard drives, an optical drive, and GPU power. This is great because it looks cleaner and doesn't mean that the 5 1/4-inch drive bay is empty if you decide not to use an optical drive. However, slot-loading discs tend to be more expensive and some can be quite noisy. Overall, this is a very attractive, understated yet highly functional tower case. You can pack a lot of hardware into a relatively compact (albeit dense) case. It costs a lot of money for a PC case, but it's worth it in my opinion.

Pros
  • Unlimited airflow design with unique angled vents minimizes noise and maximizes fan performance. Adjustable holder for large CPU coolers and graphics cards. Independent power supply air duct with dedicated power supply filter. Holds up to seven 3.5" hard drives and four 2.5" hard drives. SSD's
