Required for Malibu
In the past I've replaced the stock air filters on all my cars as soon as possible, but I'm a little too lazy to do that for my Malibu. After a year of using the standard filter, the transition to it was noticeable. The biggest improvement I saw was in performance. With the stock filter the engine sometimes felt a bit sluggish and rough, but with the new filter this is no longer the case. Fuel economy has also improved, but not enough to be noticeable. Overall, I highly recommend this replacement filter.
