The metal backing the buckle stud is about a 1/2 inch diameter disk. After about 6-8 months of wearing this belt every day on the job, the stud no longer sits properly in the buckle, causing the belt to sometimes come undone on its own.The rest of the belt has held up fine, but I can see the disk the stud is mounted to pushing through the leather of the buckle.
