Just the thing! We thought the lamp in our daughter's room was broken. The switch turns, but the lamp does not light. I bought these thinking it might be the switch and voila! The lamp works again! I also used one on my foot lamp this Christmas. The switch is very difficult to turn. I installed one of them with an extension cord and wow! Went like clockwork.
