This duvet is lightweight but heavier than most thinner duvets! Cotton fabric is smooth, soft and warm! I wanted something I could use all year round and that would fit the bill in the winter with an extra blanket! First I was looking for a modern farmhouse style with soft light colors and it fits my bedroom perfectly! The king size is perfect for my bed, reaching about halfway down the sides so you can add a bed skirt! Haven't washed it yet but I don't expect any problems as cotton usually washes well! The overlays have a more customized look that I think fits the modern theme! Looking for quilts so many very floral ones which my husband hates so was very happy with the color and design! Plus, for all the cotton, it was a phenomenal price! Highly recommended !
