Review on Screencast-O-Matic by Stephen Cernatescu

I like how my instructor showed me how to use this product during class. It allows you to record your computer screen and add effects such as text overlays or graphics using drag and drop capabilities. The recording is only good for one user at once so if more than 1 person uses it, there's no way of being able to share files with each other. I also don't think that the program has any tutorials online to learn from but after watching her show in class I realized that she doesn't need them because the software explains everything very well. This will save students time by not having to go through multiple steps before creating their own tutorial. Students are saving hours upon hours of wasted time trying to figure out how to do things themselves when they could just easily have someone else make one for them within minutes instead. I love that you can record your computer screen while using other applications at the same time without having to close them down. It can be quite difficult sometimes getting things set up before recording but once its done it works well. The price is also not great considering how many features are included in this software package. This program does everything we need from simple screen recordings of our products or website layouts all the way through creating tutorials and presentations.
