These sheets are durable but have a canvas feel - they are the least soft sheets I have ever owned. I'm keeping them because I think after a few washes they will break and soften a bit and then maybe last a very long time? The time will show. The bedding set arrived on time as expected, the extra pillowcases I ordered at the same time were not due to arrive for the next month. I made a cancellation request because I want to sleep on a softer pillowcase. Update: the pillowcases have arrived and they don't look like sheets even though I ordered them from the same site at the same time and they should be on the same line. Different fabric, different colour, different stitching (see picture of sheet set vs extra pillowcases). I think the pillowcases were what the product should have been because they felt premium, luxuriously soft and premium. They were dark grey, as I would expect for sheets, and lined with a slightly lighter fabric. I'm going back because they don't match the sheets at all which are more of a brownish grey. We've already washed the sheets three times and while they're not as hard as they were originally, they're far from soft. And they hold wrinkles terribly - and who has the time or energy to iron my pillowcases and sheets?! To be honest I think this is one of those situations where a seller sells a limited amount of a good item and gets a bunch of great reviews and then switches to a cheaper item.
