These containers are great! They come in 3 sizes. A 7.5 cup is perfect for 3 pounds of granulated sugar. The square shape allows the corner of the cabinet shelf to be used optimally and they can also be stacked. Sealing the lib makes it airtight - no more finding candy rocks when you start baking. The container can be washed in the dishwasher; However, the lid takes a very long time to dry, so I hand wash the lid. I use these containers for flour, sugar, dried fruit, nuts, crackers, cookies - pretty much anything.
