Review on πŸš— DEA A5446 Front Engine Mount: Reliable Stability for Optimal Performance by Chp Rodgers

Revainrating 5 out of 5

2006 Ford Escape 3.0 4WD

The Escape had significant vibration/rattle when stopped while driving while idling. I'm not sure if the motor mount is the culprit. I tried to check by lifting the engine up a bit (jack with a block of wood on the oil pan) and the brackets didn't come loose. This mount is prone to failure, and when it does, it may come loose during testing. There was no division. However, I dared. Went like clockwork. Removing the old bracket was pretty easy. Just a few screws with a jack underneath to keep the engine from falling over. This mount just slipped on, fits well. The first test drive was a stroke of luck - no vibration, no rumble. Reliability - time will tell.
