I was so disappointed in this product I will never buy it again. Party ribbons are more absorbent than these sheets. I've been buying Carefresh bedding for a few years now and it works really well but it was too dusty even though the label says it's 99% dust free. Because of the dust, I looked for alternative bedding options for my dwarf hamster. After reading reviews of different brands and realizing that there is no such thing as perfect bedding, I decided to give it a try. And WOW what a mistake. After only TWO days the cage smelled terribly and I had to clean it out. Fighting the smell of this product is terrible! My dwarf hamster likes to rummage under his litter, but the litter is so thin and non-absorbent that it gets soaked next to his water bottle and bits and pieces get caught in the metal ball bearing. it's in a drinking skin. This causes the entire water bottle to leak, which has never happened with other paper bedding. Every day I found that the padding around the water bottle was completely soaked and I had to replace it. Yes, the product is less dusty than Carefresh pet litter, but it absorbs little to no moisture and the odor control is a joke. For this reason I do not recommend this product to anyone.
