Flush at least two gallons before drinking.

Installed my first filter and my fridge water works like a charm.Remember - when first installing a filter, TURN OFF YOUR ICE MAKER and flush a MINIMUM of two gallons of water before drinking, then turn the ice maker back on. That was the one thing I noticed - the filter has a lot of carbon activant residue that needs to be flushed. I flushed about 5 gallons before attempting to drink the water. But it tastes great!
