I wanted to love this bib. I chose it for its Velcro closure (for quick on/off and flexible adjustment) and of course it's very cute. But even with the smallest settings, there's always an opening where we need it most to catch food and liquids running down our throat and chest. My baby is 8 months old so it's not a little baby anymore. I think it would be better for children. My old (baby summer brand) works better but has a regular button closure. However, the material is very comfortable and soft, the Velcro is also of good quality. If your child has a thicker neck I think this will work great. It is easy to clean, stretches well and is very light.
