Review on YuKaiChen Men'S Short-Leg Boxer Briefs With Performance-Enhancing Bulge-Pouch Technology by Peter Montoya

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Almost an outstanding product

First of all, I'm writing this review based on exactly one day of use, and everything that follows assumes these are going to hold up reasonably well under daily use. I have trouble with underwear - they're either too tight in one area and / or too big in another, depending on what size I buy. Boxers present other challenges, and are not always optimal, depending on what I'm wearing over them. That said, I recently tried the Shinesty product, and they are good. The little woman LOVES them, but they're just stupid expensive. I thought I'd give these a try because they looked similar in cut, but had a much friendlier price tag. These things are very comfortable - almost undetectable - and they have good support in the front - keeping things where they belong. The only significant issue I have with this product is the way the two front "escape hatch" flaps meet RIGHT in the middle of the "hammock" (for lack of a better term). This really isn't a problem in terms of comfort, but my wife immediately noticed (and criticized) how this badly placed overlapping seam sort of disrupts an otherwise flattering aesthetic. I wouldn't say this is a deal breaker or that I wouldn't buy any more but, in my opinion, this would be a five star product if it was available without the escape hatch.Sorry - no photos. You'll have to take my word. The overall fit and support is good, and there is enough stretch in the front pouch to keep the pieces corralled, without pinching, strangling or crushing anything important. The colors are tasteful and the design is flattering.

Pros
  • Fits really well and looks good
Cons
  • Some men may find the short-leg style of these boxer briefs unappealing or unfashionable
