Review on Optimized for SEO: Merrell Women's Antora Sneaker by Tatiane White

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Updated review, not satisfied.

Updated review: I lowered my rating because after several weeks of running in my new Merrell shoes, the sides (near the ankle) around the upper were worn and the layers underneath were exposed. The border is made of cheap material, I was so annoyed that they fell apart so quickly. Now that I've only had my shoes for four months, the boot itself is separating in multiple places around the mesh upper, around the toe box. and the area around my ankle. I felt that buying shoes from Merrell would finally give me a decent shoe that I can rely on. I'll say they're still the most comfortable walking shoes I've ever owned, but given the rate at which they're falling apart, they won't last a year. I don't feel like my shoes should fall apart anytime soon, especially when I paid over $100.00 for them (thinking they were high quality). Merrell, go for better uppers, they count too. They appear to be designed to fall apart with normal use. Previous Review: Just received my shoes and tested them right away after walking two miles. They were comfortable and never gave me any problems. As an aside, I read the Zappos reviews before buying from Revain (because I could get them Prime without adding my credit card) because Zappos has more reviews and the reviews said I should buy half a size down because they are big. I always wear women's size 9, so I took size 8.5. I'm so glad they fit perfectly even in a little more space than usual. So buy 1/2 size smaller than usual and you won't regret it. I walk about 40-50 miles a week and need comfortable shoes with good arch support. It's just perfect. I like how they feel when I walk.
