Use anti-seize - very little on threads. If heat bothers you, check it out. The rating is not displayed. I'm running almost 150 amps and not seeing any heat build up yet. The design made it possible to pull out the plastic tire in case of fire, melting, etc. Mine is on a SOLAR photovoltaic charger with 3 large batteries. I have refractory material under the item. I'll clamp the cables so I don't move if something melts. You need current and temperature readings.
