I was surprised at how easy it was - all it took was a quick cut of the existing tubing, connecting to both ends of the filter and attaching the bracket. The water tasted better immediately. I would like to warn you that this is not a product defect, it is simply a process: when water first fills the filter it can do strange things with the pressure. For example, pressing the water dispenser bar had a noticeable lag, and water continued to flow out for a few seconds after I let go. Otherwise I have only good things to say about the whole thing.
