They didn't mess up our bathroom like some other reviewers said, but they didn't do anything else either. I didn't notice any odor and they didn't form any bubbles other than air bubbles when the thing dissolved underwater. The toy is too small and made of hard plastic so it may hurt to step on it or sit in the bath. . Also, I would consider them dangerous for small children. I understand that they are not recommended for young children but do not leave them in the bathroom when there are other children in the house. As my title suggested, my granddaughter spent a minute or two with them. I can see that they come in handy when you need to talk a kid into a bath and they do a deal but that wasn't our case.
