Just doesn't work. A solid red light will illuminate when connected to the battery "correct". Contacted support who explained that for those using the battery connectors the red and black wires should be opposite; This resulted in a flashing red light, but proved quick. According to the instructions, this means charging. However, after a week my battery died and the CO sensor in the trailer started to chirp. I then put the plugs back in place and the red light came on. I have no idea what's going on. Refuse to buy a voltage or current reader. Just not happy with it. Sorry UPDATE: 11/15/2019 Can't say enough about the customer service. After my verification, they contacted me and offered their help. They were detailed and persistent. I used a third party extension cord with larger ring terminals from a battery or motorist. Told me to swap red and black if using this brand but the battery died after a week hence a bad review. On her advice, use the included cable and with the right red and black, charging appears. BUT I don't have a voltage meter and can't tell if it's charging enough to keep it up. After expressing their disappointment, they still gave me a full refund. I feel uncomfortable accepting this as there is no reason to return. That's unfair to them as I haven't seen it in a long time to see if the panel works. I will update this again but am very happy with the service. That means you have nothing to lose by purchasing this product.
