Review on 🌊 Explore the World's Oceans with Advantus Desktop World Oceans 30502 by David Flores

The globe was purchased from Stores123 and arrived well packaged and undamaged in six days. The globe looks attractive and the map surface has the appearance of matte vinyl, not paper like most globes. The only seam on the entire globe is at the equator. I don't know how this was achieved, but it should greatly increase its durability with no seams to peel and lift. In my pattern, the longitudinal lines are perfectly aligned on both hemispheres, with attractive straight stripes at the equator. In my opinion the map surface could have been a bit more contrast between colors and a bit more informative, but at this price I'm happy with it. My only complaint about the globe was that when placed on a shelf the globe spun pole to pole on the seesaw and would not stay upright. I fixed this by removing the two torx mounting screws that attach the ball to the yoke and after removing the two tiny spring steel lock washers, I slid the lock washers over the screws themselves and reinstalled them. It worked great and provided just enough friction to hold the globe in any position I wanted to rotate it. That one downside aside, the stand is very good and is made from polished chrome steel which is quite heavy and stiff. Overall I am very happy with my purchase although I intend to supplement the globe by purchasing a good atlas to provide more detail if required.
