At first glance, what to do with it? - Reading the instructions helps. 😅 I installed on double sided tape after the regular tape. My machine accesses the bobbin from above, in front of the needle, so it doesn't get in the way; I don't think this affects access to the bottom coil. I like to have it with me as a seam allowance monitor/guide when I need it and it doesn't bother me at all. This is a positive help when sewing!

If you are trying to choose between this product and "Clearly Perfect Angles", you should buy the latter. This is to ensure that the entire mesh is attached BEFORE the needle. That's too long even for my Janome 8200 QC! Clearly Perfect Angles understands that the needle position in the middle of the net is optimal. I just love this product. I tried using masking tape which was an ugly mess. I also tried the "other" solution recommended in other reviews. Complete garbage. It came in the mail this morning and I was stunned. It was exactly what I needed. I attached it to my extended table after leveling it with the included sticky pads. I left the section above the coil unglued so I could easily lift the item to change the coil. My embroidery guide floats directly above it without touching it. Works great! I
