Both shirt and shorts are made of 100% polyester. I have a combination of black and green. In short: They're not quite "mesh", but they look something like this. Like adult basketball shorts. They are not sewn. They have a strong 1.5 inch elastic waistband with no drawstring. What I really dislike about these shorts is that the pockets are vertical and they are only half an inch lower than the opening. Whatever you put in your pockets will just fall out. I am a size 4T and they measure 11.25 inches from waist to bottom. Inseam 4”. Shirt: No label in the neck area. The fabric is smooth, smooth and lightweight. Its length from top of shoulder to floor is 17 inches. It measures 13 inches in diameter all the way to the bottom. This set is made in Vietnam, so it's quite expensive at the current price of $18.
