I used to have (and still have on my second helmet) a Lexin LX-FT4 which I really like. Took G16 to install on another helmet. Overall the G16 is a great device at a very reasonable price based on what you get. Advantages - Very well packaged - Easy installation. There are mounting options to find the right place. - The sound quality is better than the LX-FT4, which was already good. - The operation is similar to the LX-FT4, so I was familiar with the buttons, although they have a different layout on the G16. - The distance is amazing. Although not exact we managed to walk over 1 mile between divisions. We usually stay much closer together when riding, so distance should rarely be an issue. - Connecting to Bluetooth on my Motorola G7 was effortless, not that massive, and never dropped. - The battery life is more than sufficient for the way I use the G16. - Adding light was often handy. This is handy because the G16 mounts on top of your helmet so the light is always pointed in the direction your eyes are looking. Peace of mind knowing you have a two-year guarantee should anything go wrong. There are some bells and whistles like FM radio, lights, seating for up to 16, and a voice assistant. Cons: Finding the right button to press while wearing a glove has always been a problem for me. I usually have to look in the mirror to make sure I'm pressing the right button. Slightly simpler for the LX-FT4 as it has a scroll wheel and the rest of the buttons are more visible (sticking out more from the body). However, the more I use the G16, the more I get used to the button layout. I didn't have to connect to 16 riders, but I tried connecting to just 6 and the device worked fine. I'll update this review after further use, but for now I'm very happy with both the G16 and my other Lexin device. The company is quick to respond to issues as I needed a replacement mounting block for my LX-FT4. It was shipped quickly and free of charge. Thank you Lexin for quality products at reasonable prices!
