Review on KIMO 12V 3” Cordless Polisher Kit - Car Buffer, 2.0Ah Battery & Fast Charger, Variable Speed And 4 Pads For Detailing/Scratch Repair by Rick Booth

This seems like a great tool, although the first time I used it, it seemed to lack power. I put it on the charger but that did not help. See why? Look closely at the 4th pic. - missing negative charging terminal ! I opened the charger and sure enough, there was no terminal on the board! I turned the board over, and as you see in 3rd pic, the big pad on the left side never had a component inserted! So once the battery died, I can never charge it! I'm not sending it back to China, and cannot find a replacement charger anywhere. Probably a great tool, if only I can get it charged up! While the battery lasted, power did seem fine to me!Edit: After buying a replacement, I realized I only needed a generic 12v 1A charger as the battery has alternate charger socket built in. So if anyone wants a one-time used package ( with a dead charger) to add their own jack-type charger, let me know!Further Edit: Changed from 1 star to 4 star ! KIMO have responded. They were unable to provide a replacement charger, and sent me a complete KIMO drill kit, which uses the same battery and compatible charger. So now I am good to go !
