Mama really liked this magnifying glass. She is 87 years old and has a very hard time seeing and reading without really bright, focused light. She could bend it on her knees to read mail, magazines, etc. Unfortunately, the "light" only lasted 3 months. She never left the light on and only used it about 2 hours a day. (I know because she lives with me). Now the light seems to have "blown out" and research shows there are no replacement bulbs in this product. SO DISAPPOINTED! And the evil $90 light only lasted three months. And it's so SAD to see my mom so discouraged because she can't read so easily now. So if you buy this, you'd better get insurance to replace the bulb if yours burns out in 3 months.
