I bought XL although I usually wear L for wetsuits and M for clothes. Based on the size chart, I found size XL (I think Asian L size is smaller than western size). I've tried it and it doesn't keep me warmer than the Neosport short suit. Water seeps through the zipper. I need it for spearfishing/snorkeling. I think this is normal for relatively warm water on days when there isn't a cool breeze. It's ok for the budget. This can be good when surfing, as less water gets in at the back. Otherwise, it is very flexible, it can be comfortable for swimming when you move more and get warm. It's pretty flexible, which is good. But for diving/spearfishing in water colder than 20°C/68°F you can't take it. But if it is a good inexpensive option for protection from jellyfish or stones. it looks good.
