I sit back and look at the straw while knitting or crocheting and this bag sits nicely next to my legs. I love that there are two mesh pockets at either end. (I want to be able to see frequently used items and quickly recall them, rather than searching down a deep, dark hole.) The mesh isn't tiny, so you don't want to poke pins or hooks into it. There are two pockets on opposite sides, large enough to hold your 11.5 inch iPad, sample or book. Inside on the side is a fairly deep smaller pocket that I use to stash less frequently used items or an extra hook or needle. My husband and I have a trailer and wanted something smaller than my large organizer to house my knitting/crochet projects and this fits just right. I gave 4 stars because the seam wasn't sewn well and I had to trim off the excess material. The zipper is a bit tight but doable and works. I've only had it for about 6 months.
