Rectangular connector for headers and accessories

These are oval connectors, no twists I am editing my review now that I have more time. Hedman confirms they are not designed for the rectangular exhaust ports that are standard on this year's heads. You can argue about anti-reversion what you will, and technically it can be activated, but your pads will leak quickly. I envy other reviewers. I had to reset the steering arm and clutch to even stand a chance of installing them. On my '66 the strut would have to be dented to fit (Hedman's documentation confirms this) and I won't gouge out my engine bay. Also, there was no chance they would fit without raising the engine on one side, which is not uncommon but annoying headlines saying they fit snugly without removing or changing anything in the description. Additionally, if I did all the work required for installation, they would hit the transaxle crossmember and possibly still interfere with the clutch. I just struggled with the driver's side for 2 hours to remove everything that was inside. Away and getting ready to unbolt the engine mount and lift the engine when I first noticed that they were oval openings. At least I understood it before I got any further. I think you really have a 50/50 chance they will work with your car IF you have a GT40 or other oval heads depending on the rest of your setup, whether Hedman says they will work for your accessories and others or not Not. systems.
