Battery longevity is not good

I purchased this battery for my Roomba 770 in October 2019. The battery will no longer take a charge and is basically dead with a blinking red battery light and Err 7 code. Resetting the Roomba did not help. My original Roomba battery lasted more than 5 years. This battery only lasted 8 months -- not worth the cost. I will no longer rely on these batteries and now will have to buy an authentic Roomba battery.
