This is by far my favorite thread I've ever bought (Galaxy Black). I've already used up two spools of this material and have only been 3D printing for a few months. This material just prints with no problems. I like it! I use this on my Prusa i3 MK3S with the default Prusament PLA filament profile (215C nozzle, 60C bed). Most of my material was printed using the PrusaSlicer default settings with a layer height of 0.2mm. Pros: * This material HIDES LAYER LINES! Did I mention that the layer lines are hidden? I mean, even at a layer height of 0.20mm, the tiny glitter particles mask the lines of the layer incredibly well. * I have had very good results with this thread. Never had a problem with sticking or issues with PLA holding too much moisture straight out of the bag. I had problems with other brands! * Prusa goes to great lengths to make its products extremely accurate. You can measure the diameter of the thread yourself and you will see that not many other threads are as accurate as this one. You even have a report of the exact diameter of your filament when it was spooled. Just scan the QR code on the side of the roll and you'll get a report! What other filament brand does this? * I have never seen a prettier wound spool than the Prusament brand. When you open the vacuum bag (which is reusable, by the way!) you'll notice how perfectly the thread is coiled. If you've ever had a print ruined by a tangled filament spool, then you know how frustrating it can be. With the Prusament brand, there is no need to worry. People with OCD like me will love spooling this thread up! It's perfect! Cons: * It's expensive! At $30 per roll, it's more expensive than most other PLA you can buy at Revain. I usually order 2 spools at a time because when they're sold out it can take up to a month or more for Revain to get another batch of Prusament branded threads directly from Prusa themselves. They have a fairly small filament production line so it takes them a while to ship more pallets from the Czech Republic to Revain when they run out. Overall: I like it. This is a huge improvement over the silver material that came with my printer and I think its advantage over all the other filaments I've used is how well it can hide layer lines. I love this stuff and highly recommend it. The only bad thing is how quickly I ran out of these things!
