My wife and I love these Topmart 3 Tier Foam Dog Ramp/Steps! Our cat, a Maine Coon mix, is older and bigger and starting to look a bit his age. Always a jumper, he loved his heights, but as the going got tougher, he couldn't enjoy them as much as before. We decided to look for steps - he has the only step he climbed onto our bed. But when I got the chance to snag these 3 Tier Foam Non Slip Dog Stairs from Topmart, I jumped at it! We are so excited that I did. These Topmart 3 Tier Foam Non Slip Dog Steps come fully rolled up which means you will need to cut through the bag - do not use a knife or scissors. My suggestion: put the cover on at this stage without waiting for it to recover. The cover comes separately. Nice. Looks good, goes well with the design, has a "non-slip" bottom - as long as it stays in place. He can walk up and down and doesn't move. These steps are interesting - they are not real steps because they have a sharp 90 degree rise. It's more of a slow, ramp-like feel, meaning shorter legs or animals that don't have a chance to take their stride won't have a problem. And our boy is taller - about 19 pounds, these Topmart 3 Tier Foam Dog Ramp/Steps, Non-Slip Dog Steps support his weight perfectly. She doesn't hold it (the ladder) upright, she holds it so that it doesn't swing back and forth. As you can see from the photos, he's standing in front of my chair - a favorite spot he uses day or night - and not only does it stay in place for him, it also moves very slightly when I'm sitting in the chair.
