I've always been a fan of straws, but last year I started to feel guilty wondering where they ended up after they ended up in a bin or bin have landed. Whether they end up in our oceans and endanger our ecosystem, or burn up and release carbon into the air. Well, if you're worried about climate change, then every little change will help for the better. So I decided (albeit very hesitantly) to try biodegradable straws. Since then I've been using it constantly. They can break after about four hours of use, but I've never fallen apart. When ready to swap out, you can easily see that they give off the flavor of the paper or just fold very easily. In my opinion, this is a small thing that you need to get used to in order to make a better choice for the good of our only country. These paper straws also come in a variety of colors and are often a talking point when I serve drinks to my guests. I absolutely love the product and will never go back to plastic!
