Yes, there are faster 2.5 SSDs like Samsung, but they are much more expensive. I bought 4 of these for my kids gaming computers. You will only save games on them. I compared this to the Samsung SSD I have in Crystaldiskmark and the speeds were the same, Sansung was slightly faster. You will never notice the difference in the real game world. If you're constantly copying and moving files, then maybe. Teamgroup ssd has no cache. But for gaming and light workloads this is a very good SSD, you can't go wrong.
