
If you're looking to save money on a meat thermometer, I recommend at least two reasons. 1) If the thermometer you receive is the same as the one I received, you will end up replacing it, spending money on the first one. 2) You can also consider the cost of spoiled meat. We have a big discount on premium ribs at Costco, so a faulty thermometer only cost me about $75 in spoiled meat. Can you still eat meat β definitely. But it's not how I want it, and I don't buy a great piece of meat to have it different, but just the way I want it. Now I'm going to do what I should have done from the start - buy a decent thermometer, because that's not the case.
