I wrapped these lanterns around a 15cm log in the garden and used them for Halloween and now Christmas flowers. The light rises about 6 feet where the branches begin and I'm high with reusable zip ties with a 10,000mAh battery. The timer feature is useful so I don't have to remember to turn it off. The battery will work 6 hours every night for about 3 nights. The brightness is excellent. but I would like it to be really white, there is only dirty yellow-white and unpleasant bright white. There are some crazy colorful combinations, but nothing special for a normal, classic Christmas. I love how you can adjust the brightness of different colors. However, the green color has become my favorite. I can easily see these lights from 500 feet away. The filament is fully encapsulated and appears to be more solid than my other three kits that have the LEDs somewhat exposed (one of them actually broke after bending too much). This one was outside in the pouring rain (battery removed of course) and still works. I plan to release them by July 4th and other holidays, maybe lighter combinations will be better then. Would have been 5 stars except for a slight lack of color options.
