Failed after only a couple months. Apparently not remotely as good as OEM. Shame
Worked initially but need to revise as 2 months after install it has already failed. What a shame as it worked smoothly and correctly for the first 2 months. Guess it was too good to be true. Gearing internal failed today and back to where I was before. Noise of the gear skipping is actually worse than the OEM Honda part that was in there before.- 21 June update. Removed and replaced with different unit. Disassembled and found broken gear tooth on main rotational gear. Bottom line, cheap construction. Hopefully this new unit from different vendor will more reflect OEM construction.
- Perfect oem fit, a little crazy to replace but it got done.
