Bought this cable last January for a new AT&T phone that I bought and used here hung the wall. The cord was ridiculously short that I couldn't even sit at the kitchen table 3 feet away from it. I also bought the same phone for the bedroom that didn't even reach the bed! So I order a 12 foot RCA cable for the bedroom and 25 foot for the kitchen. I would buy a 20ft cable but couldn't find it. The 25-foot cord might be too heavy to hang, but we've always had wall phones with very long cords. We don't use land lines very often, but when we can't hear anything on our cell phones, we use them. Around May, the 25-foot cable began to develop static, which increased over time. Then for the last month or so we couldn't use the kitchen phone at all because it would hang when we were picked up. I had an old beige Western Union cord that I hid but never opened, so we tied it there. It's perfect, except it doesn't match an all-white phone. LOL Damn I don't care because it works and I know it will continue to work because it was done years ago when everything was done right. I can't believe a reputable company like RCA can't make a cable that lasts more than 5 months! These days you might think things are getting better, but that's not the case as things are cheaper than years ago when companies took pride in their products. Sorry to be harsh but it pisses me off paying good money for something that won't even last 6 months. Don't let that happen to you.
