Review on ☂️ Ultimate Protection with Totes Automatic Windproof Water Resistant Foldable Umbrellas by Andrew Camlin

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Feedback from someone who REALLY PAID FOR THE UMBRELLA (not a "free promotion ")

Looks like I'm the first person to PAY for an umbrella to leave a review. It seems like everyone else is (as of 7/10/17) "reviews of free Vine advertising sites," so here's an unbiased review from the person who actually spent $38.16 (taxes included) to get this umbrella to get. 7/10/17) that this umbrella is a very recent release. I could not find this part number on the Totes website or in the product listing. As far as I can tell, this umbrella will be the latest in a line of Totes products that are "NeverWet" *and* "Titan" at the same time. The latest was 8755, which was listed as "available at Revain" as of August 2016. This 07115 is currently out of stock as it was released a month ago - June 2017. Umbrella Pendant Part number: 07115 (Black) Dimensions: Height (closed/sleeve): 12.75 inches Diameter (closed/sleeve): 2.5 inches (2 .25-2.5) Height (open): 24.5 inches Diameter (open): 42 inches Stem length under shade - including handle - open: 21.25 inches Handle length: 3.25 inches "Canopy" is 47 inches according to the specifications. I'm too lazy to try to measure it. Here are different models to compare 07155 47" Canopy NeverWet and Titan 70Mph <--- Best of both worlds!" Canopy Generic (much older) Totes Auto Open/Close Umbrella (has this one) It should be noted, that the grip is slightly smaller than on my previous model and looks like it's made out of wood instead of the usual rubber/plastic materials. As this item arrived today and it is sunny outside there is no way to test the umbrella in the field but I will try when the next big storm passes. I expect it's Totes standard. Quality as it seems the normal reason one of these umbrellas "needs to be replaced" is that it is either abandoned or someone "borrows" it. I was lucky enough to stumble across this product at Revain as I was in the process of purchasing a "spare" umbrella for emergencies. The 7570 55" Titan seemed to have LOTS of negative reviews, suggesting that it failed more often, perhaps because it was too big to (not) fail. That left the smaller 7550 47" Titan, which had better reviews , or the MUCH smaller 8755 43" Titan/NeverWet. While I was interested in an umbrella that had both attributes, the much smaller size was a deal killer. I was just about to go for the 7550 47" Titan when I came across this product. It had a larger size (47-inch canopy), Titan 70 mph speed, and NeverWet feature. Looks too good to be true but having this item in my hands I can say this umbrella is worth buying as it gives you A) a large canopy, B) titanium protection at 70mph, C) Function NeverWet offers . Until Totes releases a version with a 55-inch canopy, this one will be the keeper. - From someone who actually PAID for their umbrella, not someone who got it for free. :)

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Not as good as it says
