Great all round projector for video projectors

This projector is probably a bit larger than some of the others you'll find here, but that's due to the larger bulb. They claim it will last at least 100,000 hours, which is twice as long as other offerings, so compromise. I can also say that this makes it a lot brighter compared to another projector I've tried. There seems to be enough airflow and it doesn't overheat even when left on for hours. Most important is excellent image quality. The 1080p resolution is a huge upgrade that I wouldn't overlook. Most projectors I've looked at at Revain just say 1080p is 'supported' (even though it's actually 720p), but this one is actually 1080p. It's still sharp when spread across the living room wall; I think its diagonal was over 200 inches. If you cannot focus the entire image, be sure to try adjusting the smaller knob. You can easily adjust the settings (brightness/contrast, etc.) to your liking. I created a custom profile that falls between the standard and light presets. There is a small adjustable foot built into the bottom that can help with the right angle. The sound quality is also good and the speakers are very loud. Make sure you turn on surround sound in settings if you get it. The remote control works well even when you're not behind the projector or aiming directly at it. Opening the battery compartment is a bit fiddly, but that's a minor inconvenience. The touch controls on the projector itself are easy to use as they are well-lit. The only thing I really complain about is the connections on the back, they are too close together. Some of my HDMI devices or cables are larger so I can't keep them plugged in at the same time due to space constraints. A short extension cord should fix that though. Phone casting was very easy to set up on my Samsung phone. All you have to do is log into your WiFi on the projector itself, and then you can easily connect using your phone's settings. Works the same as ChromeCast. I haven't tried iOS devices, but I don't think it's too difficult. Overall, I can recommend this projector. This is a new experience compared to just sitting in front of the TV, which definitely brings the family closer together.
