My vacuum pump with a CPS VG200 gauge attached directly to the hole (no tubing) reads down to 9 microns. Best with these hoses and a low pressure gauge on the 45 micron line. I mean something is flowing. And even at 45 microns, the low pressure vacuum gauge shows just over 20 inches of mercury (about 70% vacuum), when in reality 45 microns is about 99.99% vacuum. I suspect the print operation will be more accurate (long page rotation), although I haven't tested this yet (I'll update this review if this fails). But even with leaks and inaccuracies, it can still be used for vacuuming (requires only 350 microns for a mini-split and only 500 for an automotive A/C system) and charging. You get what you pay for, but unless you are a professional air conditioning service this kit will do the trick.
