Holy smokers! When I opened the package and saw how many pieces I had to cut and sew, I was very shocked. However, I really wanted to do something, so I started from scratch and it's looking really good! Only thing I have to say is that the embroidery instructions are almost useless and I don't know how to embroider so I use fabric paint for those areas. Also, "everything you need" is NOT included. You'll need some padding for the decoration and a large piece of heavy cardboard for the inside of the base wreath. And a needle threader! Unless you have excellent eyesight. Contains two needles. if you try using the wrong sequin and beading needle, you will find that the beads will not fit on the needle, so be careful. If you have never sewn before, you should probably throw this set away. There is a lot of sewing. For example, the red stripes on each candy cane are unique. Just cutting it out takes some time. Each sequin is sewn on. Some of the beads didn't fit the needle provided, but there are many more. I hope to have it ready by Christmas but if not I will get it next year. I would advise this company to put a rating on their kits: beginner, intermediate, intermediate - something like that! Maybe also an estimate of the time it will take. This set was probably a bad idea for me, but I have some knitting experience, so I'm fine. Except embroidery! I actually used fabric glue and glitter on all of the holly leaves instead of stitching out the "veins" like you should have. That's why I think mine is nicer than in the picture.
