Review on WindRider UPF 50+ Neck Gaiter, Face Mask - Ultimate Sun Protection for Fishing by James Dominick

I originally chose this mask for lawn mowing, but I will also use it as a face mask during the COVID-19 epidemic. Without a mask I can get sick for a few days every time I mow the lawn due to seasonal allergies. I've used a paper face mask while mowing for the past few years and it's been a huge help in preventing severe allergy symptoms. However, if you wear a mask for 4 hours, the rubber bands will rub against the skin and become very uncomfortable. I just received my WindRiver leggings so I'm not sure how well they filter allergens yet. However, I tried it on and it's definitely more comfortable than other types of masks I've used. There are no elastic threads to rub against the skin. In my opinion, it's also a more convenient option than other types of masks, especially when they have to be put on and taken off repeatedly, as can be the case with use during the COVID-19 epidemic, for example, and you want to remove the face mask, if you can maintain social distancing, and put it back on when necessary. In "gaiter mode" it sits comfortably around the neck but easily detaches at the top for use as a face mask. Besides, you don't have to worry about losing it. Other types of masks are usually fully removable, but the gaiters are where you left them: on the neck, always handy. Overall, these qualities make it a better option for me than other masks I've used. I'm also happy with the quality of the material and the finish of the stitching and edges. After using the Mow Gaiters I will update this review with results on how well they filter allergens. UPDATE: My gaiters do an excellent job of filtering out allergens while mowing. No breathing problems after several hours of mowing today. However, my eyes are very itchy, so I know there were allergens in the air. This is my confirmation that the mask works.
