Very clear display and very accurate square wave generator! This multimeter has several features that I have not seen from well-known brands, at least in this price range. Some of these are capacitance, thermal microamps (yes, micro), and a weak but workable non-contact voltage (NVC) antenna (see attached video). end caps attached. The NVC setting will only be felt at the top of the device, which the manual doesn't say. Also, this only works if you place the device next to a live wire. So putting this thing next to an outlet won't do anything for you (I think it's more like not measuring contact with bare wires, but still contact with the insulation). I didn't get a gauge for the NVC setup so I'm not worried about that, but FYI just in case you're hoping to use that setup. The voltage seems pretty accurate. I don't have a calibrated meter to compare to, but it works for what I need it for. This has a review on YouTube and appears to agree with other measurements. The LED is just as useful as the NVC setting, okay maybe less so. Just don't plan on ever using it. See image. Does it work like a multimeter, yes. I died looking for a proven 120v outlet? no Hence 4/5 stars from me as it serves its purpose and is a very good price. It would have been an extra star if the manual had been written better and a calibration certificate had been provided.
