Don't expect it to work on a chair or sofa like a TV stand. Feet too far forward and partially over the front edge of the chair (or sofa). and with any added weight, it leans forward. Also, the legs are too wide apart to even fit in a regular chair with armrests. To be honest the pictures don't show it being used on a chair or sofa. It will probably do well on a bed or on the floor as a children's table as shown in the picture. The build quality seems good to me, I only have design issues when using it as a lap tray. I just wanted it to double as a laptop desk when sitting on my couch and I'm disappointed. ***Avantree Customer Support contacted me after I submitted the above review. I was very surprised by their concern for my satisfaction, prompting them to send me a smaller version of the same laptop. After I got the mini table, it completely solved my big style problem. Not only am I very happy with the new table, I have nothing but good things to say about Avantree's customer service.
