Don't expect it to work on a chair or sofa like a TV stand. Feet too far forward and partially over the front edge of the chair (or sofa). and with any added weight, it leans forward. Also, the legs are too wide apart to even fit in a regular chair with armrests. To be honest the pictures don't show it being used on a chair or sofa.
