These are very beautiful and unique lamps. I was very satisfied when I put them on for the first time. Everything works as advertised, remote control, timer, various settings including the ability to use batteries or a USB port for power. However, I didn't realize how much the light drained the batteries. First off, I wanted my balcony to be free of power cords. Battery operated lamps certainly serve this purpose. However, if you intend to use the batteries, be prepared to replace them frequently, e.g. B. once a week or at most ten days. This is a calculation using them for six hours a day (timer setting). I bought two strings, so at this rate I'll be changing six batteries at least 36 times a year! You will notice the light dimming after just a few days of using the batteries. In summary, in my experience, if you use it with an outlet as the power source, you'll be happy with it. If you plan to use a battery power plan, you'll need to invest heavily in buying batteries to keep them powered up and looking bright.
