Worth the money for the cable alone.

Okay the mic might not be the same quality and quality as your Yaesu but if the cable is the only problem you can use this cable by loosening the three screws in the mic head and just unplugging it the cable. . Do the same for the standard microphone and connect the new cable. The fake microphone version does not have the same sound quality as the original and the light is too bright. By only replacing the cable, you keep the same sound and light quality that you are used to.
