Good buy for 1 year old
This kept my 1 year old busy at various times. he was interested in this and the movement of parts through wires. But my much older kid stepped on it stupidly/rudely and some of the wires aren't as firmly anchored in the wood anymore. So it can give birth to a child, but not someone older with more strength or weight who will abuse it. This is a decent toy.
